Led Zeppelin History

Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 by Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham.  Zeppelin are regarded as the first heavy rock  band.  The group have sold an estimated 200 million albums world wide and sales of the group’s fourth album make it one of the best selling albums of all time.  The group announced that they were to disband in December 1980 due to the earlier death of drummer John Bonham. 

Led Zeppelin Memorabila

In recent years interest in Led Zeppelin memorabilia has increased greatly, aided undoubtedly by the group’s re-union concert in December 2007.  The group signed extremely few sets of signatures in their ten year plus career, compared to, say, The Beatles and these are extremely sought after these days particularly signed albums.  There is also a high level of interest in posters from Led Zeppelin’s concerts.  Again these are relatively thin on the ground and consequently when they do show up they bring in consistently high prices.
